This frame has been restored to the exact original finish by Pellizzoli (Ciocc) after a nice trip to Cinelli and the approval from Cinelli itself. The frame has been used only on track before restoration, it was built for the FCI “Federzione Corsa Italiana” (Italian race federation) as you can see by the double code stripes engarved under the bottom bracket.
Frame number is 6781 while team number is 44, unfortunately there are no sure information about the team it was built for. Many times geometries of those frames were slightly different from the serial ones. This frame was build in the old Cinelli factory with the classic spined method, you can find the spine inside the diagonal tube nearby the bottom bracket tube.
Following the serial numbers on the Cinelli Registry and from the information we had from Cinelli we can date this frame up to the end of the sixthies / beginning of the seventhies.
